Requirements to Commence training for a JAR-FCL CPL (A)  

  • Hold a valid PPL (A) licence
  • 150 hours of total flight time as pilot
  • Passed all CPL or ATPL (A) Theoretical Examinations

Requirements for Licence Issue for a JAR-FCL CPL (A) 

  • Hold a valid JAR Class One Medical
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Completed a minimum of 200 hours total time of which
  • 100 hours P1
  • 20 hours cross-country as PIC to include one flight of at least 300 nm in the course of which full-stop landings at two airfields other than the airfield of departure shall be made.
  • 10 hours instrument dual instruction
  • 5 Hour Night Qualification / Rating
  • Passed the CPL Skill Test with a CAA Examiner

 

 

MEP          MULTI-ENGINE PISTON ( LAND ) CLASS RATING TRAINING COURSE

6 Hours Multi-Engine Dual Instruction

  • 2 ˝ Hours dual instruction under normal conditions of ME operation
  • 3 ˝ Hours dual instruction in engine failure procedures and symmetric flight techniques

1 hour Hire of Aircraft for Test (included)
7 hours of theoretical knowledge instruction in multi-engine aeroplane operation
Pass a theoretical knowledge written examination as part of the approved course
Pass a Licencing Skill Test (LST) conducted by an authorized CFE or FE 

Requirements to Commence training for an MEP Class Rating 

  • Hold a valid aeroplane licence
  • An applicant must have completed a minimum of 70 hours as  pilot- in- command of  aeroplanes
  • Hold a current medical
  • Be competent in the English language

Passed the Theoretical Knowledge Examinations IR or ATPL (A)
MEP for those wishing to obtain a M/E IR

IRR -     INSTRUMENT RATING RENEWALS / REVALIDATIONS

An Instrument Rating may STILL be Revalidated in an FNPTll Simulator, however, after intial revalidation the following year it must be conducted in an aircraft and from then on bi-annually in the simulator.  

N.B.  All IR Renewals must be conducted on the aircraft

Boeing 727 / 737 / 747           AIRLINE SIMULATOR ASSESSMENT TRAINING

PFT has had extensive experience and great success over the last 3 years of helping pilots gain new flying careers. Both established pilots and new recruits have benefited from Mike Boulton’s experience over this time.

Through 2006 Mike flew with 215 in the Boeing 727 of which 97 were BA candidates. The remainder were being assessed by Ryanair,BMI Reg,BMI Baby, Fly B, Air Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific, Air Arun, Brittania, Thompson Fly, European , G Cat, Easy jet , BA Connect,Netjets , Jet 2 , and a few others. Since the removal of the BAC 111 from Cranebank PFT now uses the Boeing 747 200 for BA assessments.

 

JOC JET ORIENTATION TRAINING 

PFT offers a 6 hour JOC course on the Boeing 727.
